Team Mission and Vision


Terrascape is a bicycle racing club, based in Calgary, developing and supporting cycling and its moral values in the community at large.

To be recognized in the Alberta cycling community as a racing club which:
*Creates a team culture that supports each members’ goal attainment,
*Is dedicated to supporting our high performance racers, and establishing a team infrastructure that meets the training needs of the club, and
*Demonstrates commitment to the organization of superb cycling events, promoting fair play and sportsmanship throughout Alberta.

Finally we made it out for the first Team Ride of the season. With Jeff and Andrew riding from Calgary, Lisa riding from Bragg Creek, and myself riding as well from Calgary we met in Cochrane and rode the Horse/Grand Valley loop. The weather was awesome 12+ and the wind wasn't that bad at all...

Pam showing off her brand new cycle-cross bike sure enjoyed the ride. Jason L. attacked a few times (while we were stopped chatting...) and of course we couldn't get him, but "next time buddy" we will get you !!. we had a couple non-terrascapers joining us (Michelle and Steve) that managed to get some "free" draft, but that is cool, we will be riding on their tails one day too LOL. We finished the loop in under 2:00 hrs (45kms with a lot of climbing) and some continue their rides to Calgary and Bragg Creek (for sure with a hell of a tail wind).
